Jointing Details

This section details the primary methods used for jointing our products together.

The examples provided below together with our project gallery illustrate what can be achieved using the various types of jointing application.

For simplicity we have chosen to categories the jointing methods used as follows;

                                a). Aluminium Extrusions;

                                b). LED Lighting Strip;

                                c). Shadow Gap;

                                d). Cover Strip;

                                e). Channel;

                                 f ). Joggle;

                                 g). Butt Joint;

                                 h). Filled & Painted.

The choice and compatibility of each jointing method will essentially be determined by aesthetic considerations and the type of base material selected from our product range for example, pre-formed plywood, Metal, GRP, GRG etc. This section will therefore give guidance on what we consider to be the most suitable and appropriate methods across our product range.

Product Compatability; * All Preformed Plywood / MDF Products * Laminate Wall Cladding Panels ( Internal ) * Metal column casings ( Internal & External ) Extrusions can be curved for use with columns These extrusions can be powder coated to a wide range of RAL colours and when combined with a thin metal or laminate insert strip provide a virtually unlimited range of colour combination.
b). Aluminium Extrusions Secret fix aluminium extrusions complete with LED lighting inserts strips. Product Compatability; * All Preformed Plywood / MDF Products * Laminate Wall Cladding Panels ( Internal ) * Metal column casings ( Internal ) Extrusions can be curved for use with columns These extrusions can be powder coated to a wide range of RAL colours and when combined with a thin LED lighting strip turn the joint into an architectural lighting feature. We can provide the LED lighting in a range of colours; White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow.
